Aisha Bibi Sanatorium is located about 25 km south-west of Taraz on the shore of the salt Lake Maly Akkol, whose bottom yields therapeutic sulphide silt mud. It treats musculoskeletal, gynaecological and urological conditions and nervous system disorders using mud and mineral baths, showers and physiotherapy. A state municipal enterprise under the Health Department of the Zhambyl Region Akimat.
