One of the oldest mud spas in Kazakhstan, in Zhanakorgan District, Kyzylorda Region. Treatment is based on natural brine and mud applications; it focuses on musculoskeletal, gynaecological and urological conditions and disorders of the peripheral nervous system (radiculitis, neuritis). Facilities include a gym, billiards, a café, a herbal bar and table tennis. Main treatment: brine baths (37–39 °C) for 10 minutes, mud applications (38–40 °C) for 10 minutes, vaginal and rectal mud tampons (38–39 °C), brine irrigation after vaginal tampons; in the physiotherapy room — galvanic mud, ultrasound therapy, UHF, electrophoresis, SMT and Mavit. Free treatments: mud therapy, salt (brine) baths, galvanic mud therapy, physiotherapy, SMT, ultrasound therapy, tube quartz (UV), herbal inhalations, magnetic therapy, manual massage, rectal and vaginal tampons, gynaecological irrigation, tubage (blind probing), darsonval, exercise therapy and a light bath. Paid, price on request: general massage (10, 30 or 45 minutes), gynaecological massage, colon cleansing with the AMOK device, therapeutic micro-enemas with herbs and oils, and medicated gynaecological and urological tampons. Indications: joints — rheumatoid polyarthritis, gout, osteoarthritis, post-traumatic arthritis and arthrosis after 6 months, joint contractures; spine — ankylosing spondylitis, osteochondrosis, scoliosis, disc herniations, protrusions; nervous system — polyneuritis, radiculoneuritis, neuropathies, paresis of the arms and legs after a stroke; gynaecology — chronic salpingitis and oophoritis 3 months after a flare-up, primary and secondary infertility, recurrent miscarriage, menstrual disorders, infantilism, uterine and ovarian hypoplasia; men's health — impotence, prostatitis, reduced libido, chronic cystitis; skin — allergic dermatitis, neurodermatitis, psoriasis, eczema 3 months after a flare-up. Contraindications: general contraindications to spa treatment; cancer; the first 6 months after surgery; acute inflammatory and infectious diseases; uterine fibroids, polyps, ovarian cysts; pregnancy at any stage; the first year after childbirth and breastfeeding; mastopathy, menstruation; prostate adenoma; past heart surgery, stents, CABG, pacemakers; heart rhythm disorders, WPW syndrome; decompensated thyrotoxicosis, complications of diabetes, decompensated varicose disease.
