A balneological resort operating since 1964 in Katon-Karagai State National Nature Park, in the heart of the Altai Mountains at 1,760 m. Its main healing factor is natural thermal radon mineral water. Treatments offered included antler therapy, mud therapy, pearl, radon and turpentine baths, aromatic wraps, inhalations and massage. As of 2026 the sanatorium has suspended operations, and some cottages on the grounds are rented out privately.
