Charyn Canyon and Chundzha — glamping, yurts and a thermal resort
Charyn Canyon and its Valley of Castles is one of Kazakhstan's best-known natural sights, about 200 km east of Almaty. Glamping sites, yurts and wooden cabins operate at the rim and on the canyon floor, and nearby in Chundzha there is a sanatorium on hot mineral springs with thermal pools.
