Bayanaul National Park — Kazakhstan's first national park, founded in 1985 — has a campsite for fans of back-to-nature holidays: bring your own tent and sleeping bag or rent a tent on site. Camping is paid, showers cost extra, and there is a separate fee to enter the protected area of the park. The campsite is about a 20–30 minute walk from Lake Zhasybay.
